Born in Sofia, he studied music at the Music Academy in Sofia obtaining an honorary diploma.
He is a fixed tenor at the Sofia Opera and has been involved with Opera 2001 since its inception in 1991, having performed in major theaters in France, Spain, Germany and the Netherlands.
