Synopsis
CARMEN
The ballet tells the story of the gypsy Carmen, made immortal by the writer P. Merimee after traveling through the picturesque Andalucia of the 19th Century.
Carmen, a gypsy cigarette girl of great beauty and peculiar life, crosses paths with the fate of Jose, an exemplary soldier, responsible and reliable, stationed in Seville, who ends up becoming a deserterm thiefe and murderer for her. Carmen's changing feelings and the love triangle that forms when Carmen sets her sights on a famous bullfighter, lead to the fatal outcome.
The adaptation to this Spanish Ballet, shows a whimsical Carmen who strongly believes in the freedom with which she lives her life and her decisions, bewitching every men who cross her destiny ... fate and tragedy will turn into her end.
