The world-acclaimed Imperial Russian Ballet, founded by Maya Plisetskaya and directed by Gediminas Tarandá, presents "The Nutcracker" with a cast of 45 dancers of the highest artistic level, many of whom have been winners of prestigious ballet competitions, such as Lina Sheveliova, Nariman Bekzhanov, Lev Brel, Yana Cherkashina, Denis Simón, Vladimir Dorofeev and Anna Pashkova.

Imperial Russian Ballet was created in 1994 at the initiative of Maya Plisetskaya, who for ten years was its Honorary President and General Adviser. Gediminas Tarandá is the Artistic Director of the Ballet, who, before creating the company, was the principal soloist of the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow and studied choreography under the direction of Yury Grigorovich. Synopsis
The Nutcracker is the most Christmasy work of the universal classical ballet. The magician Drosselmeyer at the Christmas party makes Masha's dreams come true: the toys come to life, The Nutcracker becomes a beautiful prince and together, after facing the evil mice, they travel through the snowy lands to the magic palace. A great show with magnificent international soloists and spectacular scenery by Eugeny Gurenko.
